[Mpi-forum] Sept 2-4 MPI Forum meeting in Helsinki

Just a reminder that we need to have people who plan to attend this meeting to register on-line before the end of this month, so that we can give the hotel an accurate head count for this meeting.  For those that register after this deadline we can't guarantee there will be room in the meeting location, and food will not be provided - this does not mean that there may not be room.

Due to a ruling that just came through today, we have just reset the price for the meeting back to $200 - the usual cost for this meeting.

As I understand it, the only way to get the a hotel room at the meeting rate is by going through Euro PVM/MPI registration.  Also, the rate is not available the night of Sept. the 1st.  I am working with the local hosts to rectify this, and will send out an e-mail message when this is in place.

The registration page for the MPI Forum  meeting in Helsinki, Finland is up now.  We need to make a firm head count for the meeting room a month in advance, so those who plan to attend should register before the end of July.  We will not have the flexibility to add folks at the last minute.  A block of hotel rooms has also been reserved in conjunction with the Euro PVM/MPI hotel room block, however people need to make the reservations on their own directly with the hotel.  The hotel will extend the conference room rate up to two weeks prior to the meeting.
