[mpiwg-sessions] Next meeting - today - 1pm Eastern US time

Hi Dan

I’ll attempt to attend, but may not be able to do so due to an injury. A quick update on PMIx Groups: I added the code to the PMIx main repo for others to explore (see attached for relevant header). The collective collective forms (Group_construct and Group_destruct) are functional, and I believe that Invite/Join also works but is very lightly tested. I am working on an extension that returns (if requested) a globally unique “context id” counter for the Group_construct operation. Should complete that today with support in PRRTE.

I would like to solidity these APIs by end of 2018 for inclusion into v4 of the standard, to be released 1Q2019. We can always extend functionality with new attributes - that’s easy to complete.
Ralph
