Well, you are correct - I totally forgot that we added this at the beginning of the MPI-3 process.

In the last meeting in Japan there was discussion of changing the rules moving forward to allow for voting on a telecom between meetings, as the number of meeting is going down to once a quarter.  Still using the requirement of physical attendance as the criteria for voting eligibility.  If we go ahead with such a change, we could have the final vote in time to have version 3.0 ready for SC.

(Don't read this as me trying to delay the process, just trying to make sure I'm telling users the correct thing.)

I thought there had to be a 'formal chapter reading' in a meeting between the final 2nd votes and the final MPI 3.0 vote. I got that notion from the bottom of the first page of:

So does that push the MPI 3.0 vote to December?
