Jeff, we've tried multiple times to arrange the Forum here at Argonne, but it's much more complicated than you might think. A combination of DOE meeting policies, ANL "public meeting in TCS" policies, and other cost issues actually makes it very difficult to hold the meeting at Argonne without supplying a significant amount of work on the ANL side to handle badging foreign nationals.
Add to this the apparent preference of most non-Chicagoland attendees for a downtown meeting (see Bronis' email) and it becomes even more difficult to schedule a meeting here.
I'd be happy to discuss it further with you offline, but I would recommend not advocating for an ANL meeting until you are certain that you have at least sorted out all of the ANL-side issues.
