[Mpi-forum] Ticket 278: Remove MPI-2.0 deprecated functions

Hello Folks,

Ticket 278 (https://svn.mpi-forum.org/trac/mpi-forum-web/ticket/278) proposes to remove all the deprecated MPI-1 functions.  People have had over a decade to move on to the new functions, and implementations can still provide these functions since MPI-3 does not preclude concurrent support for MPI-2.2.

Jeff will be performing a formal reading of this ticket at the July meeting.
