Dear Howard and all,

it took longer, but done:

 - PR 547 - https://github.com/mpi-forum/mpi-standard/pull/547
   includes exactly the solution from
   https://github.com/mpiwg-sessions/mpi-standard/pull/48/files

 - plus a few request for better wording/formatting
   from Dan in the example

 - plus an unresolved formatting change from mainly
   implemented (therefore obsolete) PR 519

 - plus a few ideas from Dan that I would reject
   (see my comments),

 - plus the pdf (see pages 502+503):
   https://github.com/mpi-forum/mpi-issues/files/6043469/mpi40-issue435-PR547-sessions-2021-FEB-25-v1.pdf

Dan,
I hope it is okay that I close these additional comments in
the PR before the meeting starts that Howard can present a
clean and in my eyes now really perfect solution for the problem
   raised in https://github.com/mpi-forum/mpi-issues/issues/435

Best regards
Rolf
