From rlgraham at [hidden] Fri Feb 8 17:14:34 2008 From: rlgraham at [hidden] (Richard Graham) Date: Fri, 08 Feb 2008 18:14:34 -0500 Subject: [Mpi3-wgleads] Mid term telecons Message-ID: Just a reminder that we agreed to hold a mid-term telecon between face-to-face meetings, so that we can stretch out the time between the face-to-face meetings from 6 weeks to 8 weeks. Please forward me call details, so that I can post these public meetings announcements on the web. Also, I am planning to put together a schedule for our March face-to-face meeting next week, so please let me know how much time you will want, and I will do my best to accommodate these requests. At the beginning I will want each wg to give about a 10 minute status update to the whole forum. You can find it from the meetings.mpi-forum.org link, under the meeting details. Please send me requests for changes, and I will do my best to get everything to fit. Note that at this stage I have not scheduled anything specific for MPI 2.2 (aside from the const and the buffer access, which I put in the point-to-point working group), as I am not aware of any specific proposals at this stage. Please note that I would like each working group to give a 5 minute update at the beginning of the meeting, to help let the broader community what is being considered at this stage. It was a good idea from you to seperate "official reading" slots on Monday from the straw votes on Tuesday - one night between. With the change above, I'm doing similar also for Ballot 3. I will inform the whole forum and will ask especially my reviewers. I have hidden the files in a restricted directory: please look at http://www.hlrs.de/mpi/mpi21/ It is open for the public, but not for search engines. I expect, we do not want that search engines can find all intermediate MPI drafts on the web. Okay?
