That's the best they could give me, and is in line with historical costs for the conference hotel.  I don't know what the gov't rate is, isn't that what you'd get?  Anyway, if you find something better, please let us know.

FYI, the group rate of 179$ is way above the DOE max lodging costs (137$).  I'd expect most DOE folks to not be able to use this.
