[Mpi-forum] Other tickets and Re: Upcoming formal readings

Rich and all ticket owners,

is it correct that in/for the following tickets,
the ticket-priority and/or the agenda should be updated:

#187 (MPI_AINT, MPI_OFFSET, MPI_COUNT in reductions, etc.)
should be set to scheduled for reading in Jan. 2012

#271 (MPI_Info for comm and win) --> "scheduled" (for Jan 2011)

On Dec. 21, Adam Moody asked for 15 Min. formal reading

#273 (nonbl. coll. I/O) is in state "scheduled" but not yet on the agenda

#275 (Minor corrections to new RMA Chapter) lists one bug
but seems to be overseen (never read, not scheduled, ...)

#285 (nonbl. coll. file manipulation)
was read in Oct. 2011, but is not yet in state "had 1st reading"

I expect that voting should be delayed until #273 is read.

#289 (MPI_Comm_merge) is related to #310 + #311 ?
It was presented at Santorini (Sep. 2011).
Was it formally read? Should it be?

#294 (MPI_UNWEIGHTED should not be NULL) --> "had 1st reading" (Oct. 2011)
and should be scheduled for a 1st vote in Jan 2012.

As far as I remember, the content is correct and
     read without any comment.

#308 + #309 (RMA) are in state "scheduled" and on the agenda,
but not mentioned for a "formal reading"

What are we doing with the following tickets that are not fully ready:
----------------------------------------------------------------------

#125 Use of [] in output arrays ("trivial text changes")

#126 Consistent use of [] for input arrays

What are we doing with the following tickets that can be directly read+voted:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

#158 Clarification that MPI_Cart_map and MPI_Graph_map are local calls

#162 MPI 2.1 Clarification - MPI_Cart_map with num_dims=0

#185 Mention C++ typedef deprecations

#218 "same arguments" to MPI_Reduce

#219 MPI_MAX_OBJECT_NAME and MPI_Type/win_get_name

#227 Clarify ambiguous sentence for MPI_FINALIZE

#259 Text updates for MPI_DIST_GRAPH

What are we doing with the "trivial text changes":
--------------------------------------------------

#207 Minor Text Correction / MPI_GET_PROCESSOR_NAME

#215 MPI-2.2 typo - missing parenthesis on page 272, line 25

#216 Remove extra fullstop

#254 Typo in the description of MPI_GROUP_INCL

#255 Missing headline for MPI_GET_PROCESSOR_NAME

#260 Copy-paste error in point to point chapter

#262 Minor typos in pt2pt chapter

#267 Typo in One-Sided chapter 11.4.4

#268 Formatting issue in One-Sided chapter 11.4.4

If one of these groups needs less than "reading + 2 votes",
then they may be already now scheduled for the March 2012 meeting,
to make clear that we are processing them.

Best regards
Rolf
