Hi Jeff,
A few more ticket 0 items for the Count ticket.
I still don't like using "respectively", but I guess it works. How about something like the following (drop the function names and just talk about the argument), e.g.:
Change:
If the lower bound of the datatype cannot be expressed by the lb argument of
MPI_TYPE_GET_EXTENT or MPI_TYPE_GET_EXTENT_X, then these functions set this
value to MPI_UNDEFINED, respectively.
to:
If the lower bound of the datatype cannot be expressed by the lb argument,
then lb is set to the value to MPI_UNDEFINED.
If you want to go with adding "respectively", then I found a few more places to add it so that we're at least consistent.
