That question is one to pose to generalized request working
group, which the wiki indicates is on hold. To the best of
my knowledge the only active proposals to modify the EI
chapter are from the hybrid programming working group.

If you would like to revive the GR stuff then you should speak
to someone involved in that working group (George Bosilica?).
