Hi all authors,

please go into MPI-2.1 and call

   svn update

You will mainly receive new mpi-macs.tex
The error should be solved.
If there is still a problem with empty sections,
then coloring is of course invisible and therefore 
(only with empty sections) you may comment these special lines out,
i.e. a %-sign before the \mpiiidotiMergeNEWforSINGLEbegin and endI 
or endII macros. 

My apologies about the inconvinience with this bug.

I also svn commit'ed the new version of prof.tex from Bronis.
