Here's how the rest of the time for MPI 5.0 will go:</div><div><br></div><div><ul class="MailOutline"><li><b>Issues created and PRs read up to now:</b> Already listed on the <a href="https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://www.mpi-forum.org/meetings/2025/06/votes__;!!G_uCfscf7eWS!cZvM1QW2IGj8KIEHAf01FG_35xvphglhDMIOLxfHwzvfPQvSkIFinMkqoxl1I23cf15il-hKw619xmy4gC_x7qOb$">website</a> and will be voted on at the next meeting as a first-and-only vote (single, regular 3/4ths vote).</li><li><b>New issues created between now and April 21:</b> Require an issue <b>and</b> a pull request. Will be read and voted on the next meeting with no-no vote rules.</li><li><b>April 21 - May 5:</b> Bill will publish a new release candidate document with all of the changes to be voted on in June already merged so everyone can see a clean version.</li><li><b>June 2 - 5:</b> Read any no-no items and vote on everything that's gone into the document since the end of the January meeting.</li><li><b>June 2 - 5:</b> Have votes to finish MPI 5.0 (more instructions at meeting).</li></ul><div><br></div></div><div><b>TL;DR</b> - We'd really rather not make any more changes to the MPI 5.0 document, but if you have something breaking and urgent, please raise it along with a fix <b>quickly</b> to Martin, Bill, and myself.</div><div><br></div><div>Last thing, officer nominations for the next cycle of the MPI Standard are now open.
